Rex David Thomas, better know as Dave Thomas was the founder of Wendy's restaurant. Thomos was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey in 1932. We was adopted at the age of 5. Growing up, Thomas lived in various spots such as Fort Wayne, Indiana, Michigan and knoxville Tennessee. Thomas eventually ended up in Columbus, Ohio running some KFC restaurants. Thomas eventually opened the first Wendy's location in 1969. He was in over 800 commercials for the company.
