Max and Erma Visocnik
Tobias Lamprecht owned a building on 739 S. 3rd street in Columbus, known as Lamprecht Hall. Had a bar on the 1st floor, family lived on the 2nd floor, with a fest hall on the 3rd floor.
During prohibition, the building was known as Kaiser Hall, and had a grocery store on the 1st floor.
In 1958, Max and Erma bought the building and opened Max & Erma's.
In 1972, Max & Erma's was bought out, and then franchised.
