John Dillinger - Crown Hill Cemetery

Located in Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana in Section 44 is a unassuming family plot.

Maybe the marker has a familiar name on it. It's because he had a son that did become famous.

The much more famous John Dillinger. Son of John & Mollie Dillinger. Lizzie Dillinger was the stepmother.

At one point he was the most wanted man in the U.S. Dillinger and his gang did bank robberies in Indiana, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin. He was involved in a well known shoot out at the Little Bohemia Lodge. Dillinger was the subject of the movie Public Enemies with Johnny Depp as Dillinger.
