cedar Hill Cemetery's Haunted Spots

Located in Newark, Ohio, Cedar Hill Cemetery is an older medium sized cemetery. There are two spots that are reputed to be haunted.

First off is the Baker Mausoleum.

Story on this one is that you are supposed to hold your ear up against the door and hear screaming and voices. Never have heard anything the times I've visited. Was actually more worried about getting tetanus from the rusty door. It's also referred to as the asylum.

There is a weeping lady in front. Various family members names are carved on the front and sides of the asylum. First time I was there, the windows were busted out. Last time I was there, the windows had been replaced.

Second spot is the baby marker.

Legend has it that if you stare at the baby for at least a minute, look away then back at the baby, the eyes are supposed to be looking in a different direction. Have never had the baby look in a different direction. It makes for a good story though.
