Fernando & Sophia Kelton
Fernando originally was from Vermont. In Columbus, he was a dry goods wholesaler.
The couple were also abolitionists. Their house at 586 East Town Street in Columbus was a stop on the Underground Railroad. The house is open for tours.

Oscar Dwight Kelton was 1st Lt. of Company A, 95th OVI. Oscar was killed in the battle of Brices Crossroads in Mississippi.
Grace Bird Kelton
Grace was a nationally known interior designer. She was the last Kelton resident of the Kelton house.
