In Marion Cemetery, very near the Warren G. Harding Monument lays Carrie Phillips. Phillips had a 15 year long affair with Harding. She is one of 4 that Harding had an affair with.She was essentially paid off to keep the whole thing quiet. During World War 1 and World War 2, Phillips supported the Germans. So much so, the U.S. had her followed during both wars.
