Bradley Kincaid - Ferncliff Cemetery

Bradley Kincaid was born in Kentucky in 1895. Kincaid had a prolific music career. His 1928 songbook My Favorite Mountain Ballads went on to sell 400,000 copies. He first performed on the radio on the National Barn Dance on WLS in chicago in 1926. In 1945 he became a member of the Grand Ole Opry and a member Nashville Songwriters Hall Of Fame in 1971.

Kincaid is the one who came up with the name Grandpa for Marshall Jones in 1935. Grandpa Jones is known for his stint on Hee-Haw.
