Max & Erma Visocnik - Green Lawn Cemetery

Green Lawn Cemetery, section 118, Columbus Ohio

While the last name may not be familiar to people, the first names should be.

A certain chain restaurant is named after the coupe.

Max & Erma were a real couple. Not a Ronald Mcdonald type of made up characters. Max & Erma bought a bar & restaurant in German Village in 1958 from Paul "Slim" Jones. In 1972 the couple sold it to Barry Zacks and Todd Barnum. The original location is in a building built in 1889 by the Franklin Brewing company. It was Kaiser's Cafe in the 1920's and 1930's. Erma died in 1977 and Max in 1995.
